REAL MADRID SIGN NEW CENTRE-FORWARD OUT OF NOWHERE – OFFICIAL

Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of Levante striker Carlos Espí. According to official club statements, the 21-year-old signed a contract until 2031 for a reported €25 million fee. The deal came unexpectedly, as Levante was previously close to an agreement with Brighton before Espí requested to prioritize Madrid. Espí was a breakout player in La Liga last season, scoring 11 goals in the second half of the campaign. The 194 cm striker is Madrid's fifth summer signing after Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konaté, and Bernardo Silva.
