The Yan Diomande transfer saga, shaping up to be the biggest story of the summer transfer window so far, is moving fast. According to Fabrizio Romano's latest information, Real Madrid have reached personal terms with the Ivorian winger, and now only need to strike a deal with RB Leipzig.
This effectively puts the Spanish giants on level terms with previous favourites Paris Saint-Germain, who reached an agreement with Diomande back in June, according to the Italian transfer expert. The catch, however, is that Paris have not yet sent an official offer to the Saxony club (as reported here), meaning Real Madrid - who have already tried their luck in Leipzig with a €90+10 million offer, unsuccessfully - are in a stronger position than their rivals.
Romano adds that the Spanish giants will soon submit a new offer for the 19-year-old winger (who, just over a year ago, faced Real as an opponent while playing for Leganés), but PSG have not given up on signing Diomande either.
