Dominik Szoboszlai Kicks Off US Tour with a Goal and an Assist for Liverpool

Liverpool played their first summer friendly match in Nashville under new manager Andoni Iraola. Facing Sunderland, Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez were brought on at halftime and made an immediate impact. Barely ten minutes in, Szoboszlai controlled the ball with his chest before volleying it into the bottom right corner. Later in the game, he provided a brilliant assist for Lewis Koumas. The Hungarian national team captain even wore the captain's armband for Liverpool in the second half. Although Iraola noted that high humidity and fatigue affected the game's pace, the foundation looks promising. The team will face Wrexham and Leeds United next on their American tour.
