The biggest British websites unanimously state that Chelsea FC is increasing its previous offer because they absolutely want to sign the Bournemouth star. The news was also confirmed by CaughtOffside. The credible source claims that the new, increased offer will be for £70 million (approx. €82 million), which is only £10 million short of what Bournemouth wants to receive for the midfielder, whose contract runs until 2028.

In the past few hours, Liverpool has – to put it mildly – begun to show keen interest in Alex Scott. And the Pool's situation is significantly eased by the fact that Andoni Iraola, who took over the reins at Anfield this summer, previously worked together with the 22-year-old midfielder for three years at Bournemouth.
