LeBron James's stats: 20 numbers to know after the move to Philadelphia

Jul 24, 2026 · 19:08

LeBron James boasts a wealth of legendary statistics from his career, as he heads to the 76ers for next season.

At 41, LeBron James is preparing for his 24th season, which he will spend with the Philadelphia 76ers. His task is simple: get the Sixers past the Eastern Conference semi-finals, something the team hasn't managed in a long time, while James himself has reached that stage 12 times in his 23 seasons (and won four championships).

Here are a few key stats about the NBA's all-time leading scorer:

1. Besides being the all-time leading scorer, he is the only player with at least 10,000 rebounds and 6,000 assists.

2. In all 23 of his seasons, he has played at least 45 games and averaged at least 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

3. He is one of only three players (alongside Luka Dončić and Oscar Robertson) to average 25-7-7 across at least 500 games.

4. He is the all-time playoff leader in both points and steals.

His dominance in the paint is also remarkable: he has scored 20,370 points in the paint. He is the only player in league history with more than 2,000 dunks and 2,000 three-pointers.

In clutch moments (final minute, close game) he has scored 70 field goals, a record. Last season (his 23rd year) it was already clear he was taking on a smaller role: his 20.9-point average was a career low, as was his usage rate (26.2%), though his efficiency around the rim remained elite.
