Mac and Cheese
Ultra creamy baked macaroni and cheese with a crunchy breadcrumb topping.
Suroviny
- 400g macaroni
- 60g butter
- 60g flour
- 700ml milk
- 300g cheddar cheese, grated
- 100g gruyère, grated
- 50g breadcrumbs
- Mustard powder, salt, pepper
Postup
Cook the macaroni until al dente, then drain. Melt the butter, whisk in the flour, then gradually add the milk to make a smooth sauce.
Stir in most of the cheddar and gruyère until melted, and season with mustard powder, salt and pepper.
Combine the sauce with the macaroni and pour into a baking dish.
Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
