Michael Olise wants out: official notice to be handed to Bayern Munich

According to several reports, Michael Olise will soon officially inform Bayern Munich's management that he wants to continue his career at Real Madrid. The Spanish club are biding their time for now, but everything is reportedly already in place behind the scenes for a move.

Olise signals his intention to leave

According to El Nacional.cat, Olise will speak with Bayern Munich's management in the coming days to formally signal his intention to leave. Real Madrid are waiting for the French forward to make his position clear before making an official offer to the Germans.

Mbappé is also steering him towards Madrid

One of the most interesting details of the story is that Kylian Mbappé is playing an active role. According to Bild, the French superstar repeatedly encouraged Olise during the World Cup to join Real Madrid. Mbappé is said to have informed the Madrid hierarchy about this, meaning it is understood at the Bernabéu that the Bayern player is open to a transfer. If it is up to Michael Olise, he will start next season in Madrid.

Bayern are holding firm on their key man

The Bavarian club still do not want to let go of one of their most important players, but if it comes to it, Bayern are willing to negotiate seriously for an offer of at least €200 million. The club's management see Olise as one of the cornerstones of their future side, and so do not want to make things easy for Real Madrid. Sport previously reported that Madrid may have set aside as much as €220 million to sign the player, but are not prepared to pay more than that.

A replacement has already been identified

Bayern Munich are already preparing behind the scenes in case they cannot keep Olise after all. The club's top target is Bradley Barcola, the French forward of Paris Saint-Germain. While the Munich club are hopeful that Olise will stay, they do not want to be caught unprepared for a possible departure.
